Hi! My Name is Monika raised in Marshfield, Ma, roots now planted in Halifax, MA. I fell in love with photography as a little girl always tinkering with my mother’s film camera and being in front of her lens. After many years of having a camera in hand snapping photos of friends, family and my oldest son, I took on my own business and Im happy to say The Homegrown Photographer LLC is now in full fruition. Specializing in family photography, including lifestyle maternity and boudoir, I enjoy going on location to capture your family’s moments of joy as well as being welcomed into your homes and documenting raw emotions to last a lifetime. Documenting people in their authentic selves is what I aim to achieve! I love to see the beauty in each and every person that I capture through my lens.

When I’m not working on my photography, I enjoy traveling especially for donuts or you can find me lost in a good book. Most importantly spending time with my family cooking and dancing around our kitchen, “island” dance parties are legendary in our home! Our family’s love is truly homegrown.
